About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate English/IELTS/Maths/Science teacher to join our team at X LINK ACADEMY in Johor Bahru, Johor.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing and delivering engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students
  • Providing targeted support and guidance to students, helping them achieve their academic goals
  • Marking assignments and assessment, providing detailed feedback to students
  • Collaborating with the teaching team to continuously improve the curriculum and teaching methods
  • Actively participating in staff meetings and professional development activities
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to student progress and attendance

What we're looking for

  • At least degree in Education or a relevant subject area, with a focus on English, Maths or Science
  • Having a TESOL/TESL/IELTS certificate will be an advantage for English teacher
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience in teaching international school syllabus (IELTS, IGCSE, IB, AP, Cambridge course)
  • Strong knowledge of the latest teaching methodologies and assessment techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
  • Proficient in the use of educational technology and digital resources

Salary Structure

Basic Salary + Commission

-Commission is performance-based and linked to teaching hours, student retention, and overall contribution
