Vet Assistant

Are you a compassionate, organised, and customer-focused individual with a love for animals? Cuddles Veterinary Clinic is seeking for dedicated Vet Assistant to provide exceptional service to our clients and their beloved pets.

This role requires a compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

VET ASSISTANT'S RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist vets during consultations, treatments, and procedures.
• Provide compassionate animal handling and restraint for various procedures, ensuring the safety of patients and staff.
• Prepare and clean examination rooms & wards before and after use.
• Monitor and care for hospitalised patients, including feeding, walking, and observing their condition.
• Clean, sterilise, and maintain medical equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the clinic, including ward and common areas.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking of medical supplies.
• Support reception staff with administrative tasks when needed, including answering phones or assisting with client check-in/out.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• SPM & above
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
• A genuine love for animals and a compassionate attitude
• Reliable and punctual
