Project Enginner

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join EXCEL M&E SDN BHD' as a Project Engineer. As a Project Engineer/QAQC Engineer , you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of engineering projects within the Johor Bahru District region. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the project, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines and quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Johor Bahru District Johor.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborating with the Project Manager to develop and implement project plans
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including design, construction and procurement, to ensure seamless project execution
• Monitoring project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and providing regular status updates
• Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards and company policies
• Providing technical support and guidance to on-site teams
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost optimisation

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the Construction industry
• Proven track record of successfully delivering engineering projects within defined budgets and timelines
• Strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Adaptable to changing priorities and able to work under pressure
