Job Scope

This role supports the Head of Department in converting operational data into actionable strategic intelligence to facilitate evidence-based decision-making and impact measurement for Yayasan Peneraju's initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

Data Analytics & Insights

  1. Lead the development and implementation of data analysis and analytics frameworks and methodologies for the D&I department to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.
  2. Design and build interactive dashboards tailored to different stakeholder needs.
  3. Conduct regular impact assessments of Yayasan Peneraju's initiatives and provide recommendations for optimization.
  4. Work with Data Analyst to transform raw data into clear, actionable intelligence through advanced analysis techniques and visualization.
  5. Develop predictive models to forecast programme outcomes.
  6. Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations.

Strategic Planning & Implementation

  1. Partner with the Head of Department to develop and execute data-driven strategies.
  2. Identify trends and patterns in market data to facilitate in strategic decision-making.
  3. Create and maintain documentation of analytical processes, methodologies, and findings.
  4. Develop predictive models to forecast trends and potential outcomes of initiatives.

Impact Measurement & Programme Evaluation

  1. Lead programme evaluations and impact assessment studies.
  2. Develop statistical and insights analysis frameworks plus quantitative and qualitative metrics.
  3. Lead in conducting deep-dive programme assessments, analyze programme effectiveness and conduct comparative benchmarking.
  4. Develop actionable, research-backed recommendations for continuous improvement on YP's initiatives based on best practices and talent trend analysis.
  5. Prepare analytical reports.

Stakeholder Management

  1. Present complex analytical findings to various stakeholders in clear, actionable formats.
  2. Collaborate with other departments to understand stakeholder needs and provide analytical support to Head of Department.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with external partners for data sharing and collaborative analysis.
  4. Train and mentor team members in analytical methodologies and best practices.
Job Requirements
  1. Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years' experience in data science or analytical roles.
  3. Proven track record in transforming complex data into strategic insights.
  4. Experience in impact measurement and program evaluation.
Expected Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills: Data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., PowerBI, Superset), Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g Excel Power Query, VBA, Macros), Statistical tools (e.g., R, SAS), SQL.

Core Competencies: Strategic thinking and analytical mindset, Stakeholder management, Problem-solving and critical thinking, Innovative thinking, Project Management, Written and verbal communication and reporting skills – Bahasa Malaysia and English, Attention to detail

Functional Competencies: Business analytics, Business impact assessment, research and measurement methodologies plus frameworks, Social impact measurement standards, tools and methodologies, Statistical analysis and modelling, Reporting writing
