Job Summary:

-To perform all survey assignments, which include maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, and safeguarding all digital/analogue survey equipment throughout the project, including ensuring sufficient spares, consumables, and manuals.

-To assist in the operation of survey equipment, which includes coordinating and liaising closely with field staff, project managers, and workshop engineers while providing technical guidance to junior survey personnel.

-Assist in the mobilization, installation, and demobilization of survey equipment on vessels and rigs, ensuring proper handling and protection at all stages.

Job Description:

-Responsible for maintaining digital/analogue survey equipment during survey duration

-Responsible for testing survey equipment after installation on the vessel

-Responsible for ensuring sufficient spares, consumables and manuals during on-board operation

-Responsible for assisting in the mobilization and installation of equipment on board the vessel and rigs

-Responsible for liaising with other field staff, the project manager and workshop engineers

-Lead troubleshooting activities for critical survey equipment and provide technical guidance to junior survey engineers and survey technicians.

-Ensure proper handling, storage, and protection of sensitive survey equipment during transit, operation, and demobilization.

-To perform all duties safely and efficiently at all times in accordance with the Company's QHSE policy; comply with Integrated Management System (IMS) processes; adhere to the Authorities' requirements and other related Group policies, procedures and guidelines

-To perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior or to any senior position nominated by the Company from time to time

Requirements:

-A Malaysia citizen

-Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering

-At least 7 years of experience as a Senior Survey Engineer or related field

-Good Communication skills, ability to troubleshoot, ability to provide suggestions for improvement & ability to install digital/analogue survey equipment on vessels

-Have good inter-personal skills, independent judgment skills and be able to work as a team

-Supervisory and leadership skills, able to work independently.

-Willing to work Offshore
