Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Control & Compliance

  • Assist in overseeing full spectrum finance functions including GL, AR, AP, taxation, and statutory reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Review monthly financial statements, consolidation reports, and variance analysis.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Support annual budgeting and long-term financial planning.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide insights to management for decision-making.

Internal Controls & Audit

  • Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to governance frameworks.
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors for audit-related matters.

Process Improvement

  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation in finance operations.
  • Review and improve SOPs, workflows, and reporting structures.

Team Supervision

  • Provide guidance to finance team members and ensure timely, accurate task delivery.
  • Act as second-in-command to the Finance Controller in leading the finance department.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance or professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CPA/MIA).
  • Minimum 8–12 years' experience in finance, accounting, audit, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of MFRS, tax regulations, and internal controls.
  • Hands-on, analytical, meticulous, and able to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10, RM15,000.00 per month

Experience:
