About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Shop Assistant to join our team at VN RETAILS SDN. BHD. in Shah Alam, Selangor. This full-time position will see you playing a vital role in providing excellent service and support to our customers in our vibrant retail environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering product and store inquiries, and processing sales transactions
  • Maintaining an organised and visually appealing store display by replenishing stock, tidying shelves, and ensuring products are presented attractively
  • Handling cash and card payments and adhering to cash handling procedures
  • Actively contributing to a positive team environment and supporting your colleagues as needed
  • Adhering to health, safety, and security policies to ensure a safe shopping experience for customers

What we're looking for

  • A passion for providing excellent customer service and a keen interest in the retail industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and helpful manner
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to maintain high standards of store presentation
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role would be highly advantageous
  • A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
