AWS Trainer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled AWS Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that develop cloud literacy, AWS competency, and digital readiness across the organization. This role supports enterprise cloud transformation by upskilling employees on AWS services, best practices, governance, security, automation, and cloud cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Delivery

Conduct instructor-led, virtual, and blended sessions covering:

AWS Fundamentals & Core Services

• AWS Cloud Practitioner
• Compute: EC2, Lambda, ECS
• Storage: S3, EBS, EFS
• Databases: RDS, DynamoDB
• Networking: VPC, Route 53, CloudFront
• Developer tools and DevOps practices (CI/CD using CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodePipeline)

AWS Security, Governance & Compliance

• AWS IAM (Identity & Access Management)
• Security best practices & shared responsibility model
• AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, Macie
• Encryption services (KMS, Secrets Manager)
• Compliance: ISO, SOC 2, GDPR, PDPA readiness

Cloud Architecture & Operations

• High availability & fault tolerance
• Cost optimisation (AWS Cost Explorer, Budgets, Trusted Advisor)
• Monitoring & logging (CloudWatch, CloudTrail)
• Backup, disaster recovery & resilience

Corporate Use Cases

• Cloud migration basics
• Modern workplace cloud adoption
• Automation using AWS services
• Business-specific cloud applications (as needed)

2. Enterprise Cloud Adoption Support

• Conduct awareness workshops and "Cloud Essentials" sessions for business users.
• Upskill IT, security, and developer teams on relevant AWS tracks.
• Support change management teams during cloud rollout initiatives.
• Promote best practices for secure, compliant cloud usage.

3. Content Development & Learning Design

• Develop, design, and deliver Microsoft training programs to various learners.
• Create realistic corporate use-cases for productivity and AWS scenarios.
• Apply frameworks such as ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, KSA, and Kirkpatrick.
• Customize training content based on the audience's skill level and AWS trends.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to participants during AWS exercises.
• Conduct incident response simulations, assessments, and drills within the AWS range.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS trends, tools, and techniques.
• Provide recommendations for enhancing the effectiveness of training programs and strategies.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to design and deliver effective training modules.
• Collaborate with external organizations and clients to develop custom training solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Cloud Computing or related fields.

· Must be HRDC Certified and Accredited to deliver HRDC-claimable training in Malaysia.

• Experience delivering AWS or cloud technology training in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of AWS fundamentals and core services.
• Familiarity with cloud security, governance, compliance, and cost optimisation.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Able to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Preferred Certifications

• AWS Certified Trainer (AWS APN Trainer) — preferred
• AWS Certifications:
• Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02)
• Solutions Architect – Associate / Professional
• SysOps Administrator
• Developer Associate
• Security Specialty (advantage)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6, RM7,000.00 per month
