Position: Facilities Technician

Duration: 1 year contract (Renewable subject to performance)

Salary: Open for negotiation

Location: PD

Working hours: Normal working hours

  • Repair and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, air conditioning, and related issues in refinery building offices (including but not limited to NOB, Lab, Maintenance & Warehouse, Control Room, Security Offices, OAB, Canteen, Daelim, and Sport Complex).
  • Maintain client assets through Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
  • Prepare monthly PPM reports and other related maintenance reports.
  • Update client assets in the database regularly and label them for easy tracking.
  • Repair or troubleshoot any defects as they arise.
  • Ensure Mechanical, Electrical & Instrument assets/materials are in order and traceable.
  • Record and report all inventory of incoming and outgoing M&E spare parts and consumables.
  • Conduct daily office floor check-ups.
  • Escort, supervise, and manage vendors.
  • Perform any other duties as instructed by the Facilities Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a PW4 Certificate.
  • 5–7 years of working experience in facilities maintenance, handyman services, or a related field.
  • Technical skills in electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and carpentry.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in air-conditioning maintenance and repair (if applicable).
  • Proven ability to use hand tools, power tools, and carry out routine maintenance tasks.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Malay and English.
  • Possess valid CIDB and OGSP certifications.

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
