Job Descriptions:

  1. Ensure to keep production lines running smoothly and manage the shift as well.
  2. Ensure all products to the specified specifications, target and deadlines are met to achieve the order.
  3. Lead the production team towards the goal set by the management.
  4. Coordinate all laser cutting operations and personnel.
  5. Schedule tasks to machine operators.
  6. Ensure machines are operated safely and maintained properly.
  7. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints and production plans.
  8. Monitor output for quality, accuracy and efficiency.
  9. Troubleshoot machine and production issues as they arise.
  10. Maintain production reports and monitor KPIs.
  11. Train and mentor new and existing team members.
  12. Enforce safety and compliance standards at all times.
  13. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., maintenance, QCC, procurement) to ensure smooth operations.

Job requirements:

  1. Degree in Manufacturing / Chemical/ Mechanical Engineering or higher qualifications.
  2. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience operating laser cutting machines (e.g., CO2, fibre lasers).
  3. 3-5 years in manufacturing to lead role within a manufacturing environment.
  4. Strong understanding of CNC operations and CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications.
  6. Knowledge of materials and laser machine parameters.
  7. Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  9. Safety-conscious with a strong sense of responsibility.
  10. Good in communication skills in English, Malay or Mandarin (Preferrable). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
