Job Description

· Responsible for the design & development of communication products for consumer and professional markets

· Work with a team of highly-qualified engineers to generate innovative ideas and design communication systems that meet customer requirements. Engineers will be working on sub-circuits that consist of display, RF, digital controller, power and audio circuits.

· Utilize Modeling & Simulation Software to create and evaluate designs like Cadence SI tool, prior to releasing the PCB layout Gerber for fabrication.

· RF sub-circuits involve receivers, transmitters, VCOs, amplifiers, filters and mixers circuit; while digital and controller sub-circuits include microcontroller, logics, LCD, touch, camera circuits.

· Participate in verification, validation and debugging activities of electrical failure-related from prototype to mass production build.

· Identify and propose potential design improvement in terms of cost, quality and performance.

· Collaborate with other project team members across different functions, identify issues and provide innovative ideas to ensure delivery of quality outcomes.

Basic Requirements

· At least a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Communication Engineering, or related disciplines, with minimum 8 years of working experience or equivalent.

· Knowledge in areas relevant to product design will be an added advantage.

· Must have an in-depth understanding and experience in RF/digital controller/ microprocessor / memories / interface development including USB bus, Eternet, I2C, SPI, DDR, MIPI (display and camera) related fields depending on the area of work the candidate is applying.

· Must know how to utilize RF / digital controller / display / touch / camera measuring equipments, such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters.

· Must have an in-depth understanding and experience in embedded system development like ESD validation and performance optimization; EMI / EMC validation and performance optimization.

· Must have simulation experience in ADS/PSPICE/SI tool.
