Role Description
MECHANICAL ENGINEER
This position will undergo a structured training program over a period of 6–12 months. The first six (6) months will be primarily based at MSCI Kemaman to build a strong foundation in plant operations. Upon completion of this phase, the candidate will be rotated to the Chlor Alkali and PolyChem sites to gain operational exposure at the respective locations.
Mechanical Engineer will support the execution of engineering projects across the organization by providing mechanical design, technical evaluation, site support, and project coordination. The role is part of a dedicated Project Team established to ensure efficient and timely delivery of new plants, expansions, and improvement projects.
PROCESS ENGINEER
This position will undergo a structured training program over a period of 6–12 months. Process Engineer will support the planning, design, optimization, and execution of process engineering activities for various projects across the organization. The role is part of a dedicated Project Team established to ensure safe, efficient, and timely delivery of new plants, expansions, and improvement projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or chemical engineering or process engineering.
Fresh graduates or engineers with relevant industrial experience are encouraged to apply
Basic understanding of chemical processes, unit operations, and process control concepts.
Ability to read and interpret PFDs, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
Basic knowledge of rotating and static equipment, piping systems, and mechanical maintenance practices.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents.
Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Willingness to undergo structured training and site rotation.
