About the role

We are partnering with a dynamic technology company to scale their core engineering team. They are looking for a Senior Java Developer with deep technical expertise to lead the design and implementation of high-performance distributed systems. If you are passionate about JVM optimization, microservices, and solving complex architectural challenges, this is the role for you.

What you'll be doing

  • System Architecture: Independently design complex business logic and scalable microservice architectures using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
  • Core Development: Write high-quality, efficient code with a strong focus on multithreading, collection frameworks, and design patterns.
  • High-Concurrency Engineering: Utilize middleware such as Redis, Kafka, and RabbitMQ to handle caching and messaging in high-traffic scenarios.
  • Database Optimization: Manage MySQL and Oracle databases, implementing SQL optimization and sharding strategies (e.g., Sharding-JDBC).
  • Performance Tuning: Deep dive into JVM memory models and performance tuning to ensure system stability.

What we're looking for

  • Experience: 5+ years of Java development experience, with at least 3 years involving full project lifecycles.
  • Technical Stack: Proficient in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, MyBatis/Hibernate, and distributed system design.
  • Language Skills: Good English proficiency (reading/writing).
  • Problem Solver: Strong independent hands-on ability to solve complex technical issues.
  • Preferred: Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) or Big Data ecosystems is a plus.
