Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chemical Scientist at GI Tech Nano R&D Center Sdn Bhd ("GI Tech"), located in MRANTI park in Kuala Lumpur. The Chemical Scientist will, inter alia, be responsible for the following:

  1. Developing enhancements to existing nano emulsion ("NE") solutions as well as new innovative solutions proactively for real life business applications in various sectors leveraging on the unique advantages of the base NE technology know how of GI Tech.

  2. Assist as a frontline personnel in business development and marketing efforts including making presentations and attending marketing meetings.

  3. Assist actively in the commercialisation efforts of the NE solutions.

These naturally include conducting experiments in a laboratory setting, designing and optimizing chemical processes, executing R&D projects, analyzing data to ensure quality control, and developing innovative solutions to meet research objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Laboratory Skills and Research techniques.
  • Strong Analytical Skills for interpreting results and data.
  • Experience in Research and Development (R&D) processes.
  • Knowledge and application of Quality Control standards.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree and/or doctorate in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and with a proactive and commercial attitude.
  • Experience in nanotechnology or materials science is advantageous
