The Company: Our client is an independent games development studio founded 2008 in the cultural heart of Southeast Asia. They are a game tech focused studio with both internal OIP (Original Intellectual Property) and external co-development tracks. They build games over multiple platforms, primarily focused on Windows Desktop PC (Unreal Engine). Their flagship and breakout is a fully serviced live operational squad based multiplayer PvP (Player-Versus-Player) 5v5 (Five-Versus-Five) FPS (First-Person-Shooter) and RTS (Real-Time-Strategy) hybrid action combat game launched in Our client provides full cycle work for hire, co-development, consulting, backend development, and virtual production support disciplines across all departments both internally and externally. Today, they are a team of 60 full-time internal developers and growing. They are committed to be wholly involved in developing digital interactive entertainment software and remain passionately strong. Combined with a people first, through innovation and integrity, they are poised to be the leading force in games development within the region.   The Responsibilities:Our client is on the lookout for great full-time talents in Production to join their growing development team. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with their talented team in strategizing, tracking, and maintaining project resources and deliverables throughout full game development cycles in their many internal and external projects.Principal ResponsibilitiesOversee full game development cycles from start to finish. Involved from projecting task estimates across multiple disciplines, quantifying game feature deliverables, while maintaining project resource demands in achieving timely milestones.Upholding project vision and direction to deliver the greatest possible results within project specifications and its constraints. Coordinate with internal and external teams, to support and bring the best out of their talents when developing complex game features.To foresee and identify potential project obstacles, and keep stakeholders informed and aware of potential risks and pitfalls throughout production. Ability to adapt, and pivot the project where necessary to ensure the health and success of their products.Team and Personal ResponsibilitiesGood in identifying challenges, providing solutions, alongside interpersonal, people, and task management skills. With meticulous attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.You are able to fluently, and concisely communicate project goals and progress to both their development teams, and its stakeholders across all development and approval processes and stages consistently, and with integrity.You comprehend and celebrate the fine line between creativity and management, working alongside our many interdisciplinary professionals to achieve a common goal. Constantly updated on the latest industry practices and trends, while always advocating for the user experience.   The Requirements:Core RequirementsExperience in Traditional and or Agile work environments and methodologies.Experience in Project Management Softwares (Jira, Handsoft, Gantt, etc.)Experience in interfacing with external clients, vendors, and partners.Experience and involvement in at least one full game development cycle.Experience in coordinating teams across multiple disciplines.Experience or background in at least one discipline in game development.Proven ability in quantifying goals, and facilitating team collaboration to achieve them.Ability to identify project concerns, and risks to stakeholder attention ahead of time.Knowledgeable in a typical game development cycle.Excellent in English communication, both verbal and written.Supplementary SkillsExperience in Unreal Engine 4 and or 5 (and above).Experience in Live Operations, post launch of a live service game.Experience in project coordination and management.Knowledge in most, if not, all game development disciplines (design, art, code, QA, etc.).Relevant degree and supporting certifications.Beneficial & Bonus SkillsExperience working with international teams and clients across varying timezones.Experience in business and operational management.Experience in mobile and or console titles.Formal Scrum Training and Certification.   The Rank Requirements:Production Assistant / Project CoordinatorPossess at least one discipline in games development (Code, Art, Design, etc.), with sufficient experience in coordinating a multi disciplinary team, achieving project goals under stakeholder or production supervision, within its mandates and constraints. Have at least been credited with one game title launch, with preferably one to two years of industry experience.Associate Producer / Project ManagerDemonstrated ability in quantifying complex game features into digestible tasks, organizing, distributing, overseeing and maintaining development resources to completion. Work closely with project stakeholders, and producers, taking ownership of certain vertical features of the product, and delivering a top notch player experience. Have at least been credited with two game title launches under a similar role, with preferably three to four years of experience.Intermediate Game ProducerExcellent knowledge and demonstrated consistency as a product owner when building, managing and maintaining game requirements and best development and production practices. Ability to identify product strengths, market feasibility, resources, and duration required to ensure a successful product. Experience working with a sizable internal and external team, while answerable to stakeholders with insights backed up by analytical data. Have at least been credited with three or more game title launches under a similar role, with preferably a minimum of five to six years of industry experience.Senior Game ProducerExceptional proficiencies in providing oversight, mentorship, and direction over a large resource pool throughout multiple and overlapping game projects within the organization. Proven track record and ability to provide close to life estimates in project budgeting, resource requirements, and anticipated sales figures. Have at least been credited with five or more game title launches under a similar role, with preferably a minimum of six to eight years of industry experience. Lead Game ProducerExcellent and proven ability in consistently demonstrating strong leadership practices on all aspects and stages in (O)IP game development, in total product ownership from initial conceptualization to final commercial delivery across multiple concurrent projects under our brand. Demonstrated responsibility in managing schedules, budgets, team performance, and collaboration in achieving the highest quality standards possible within project constraints. Proficiency effective communication with internal and external stakeholders in presenting project progress updates, highlighting of new industry best practices, prediction of up and coming market trends that adds to the overall intrinsic value to our products. Possess a decent understanding of general business practices in games development, in publishing, regional distribution limitations, and down-stream vendor engagement pipelines.
