Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide first-level and second-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
• Assist users with applications such as MS Office, email systems, ERP, and production software.

2. Infrastructure Management

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, routers, switches, access points, CCTV, biometric systems, etc.
• Monitor and manage LAN/WAN connectivity, Wi-Fi performance, and network security.
• Maintain backup systems and disaster recovery procedures.

3. Manufacturing Systems Support

• Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of ERP/MRP systems used for production planning, inventory management, and quality tracking.
• Support shop-floor devices (HMI terminals, barcode scanners, production PCs).
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure minimal IT-related disruption to operations.

4. Cybersecurity & Compliance

• Implement and monitor basic cybersecurity practices, including antivirus updates, user access controls, and password policies.
• Ensure IT policies and SOPs are followed across departments.
• Support audits, compliance checks, and documentation.

5. Asset & Vendor Management

• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses, and warranties.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement, repair, and maintenance of IT equipment.
• Evaluate new hardware/software solutions as required.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain logs of issues, resolutions, and system performance.
• Prepare periodic reports on IT operations, incidents, and inventory.

Qualifications & SkillsEducation

• Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in IT support or system administration (manufacturing or industrial environment preferred).

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and basic networking.
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and CCTV systems.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or industry-specific ERPs).
• Basic understanding of servers, virtualization, and backup tools (advantageous).

• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Work Conditions

• On-site role with regular interaction on the shop floor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM3,800.00 per month
