Key Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous integration and development of backend applications.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 3–5 developers to meet project goals.
  • Ensure optimal system performance, reliability, and responsiveness.
  • Maintain and enhance critical business modules to support growth and scalability.
  • Conduct in-depth system analysis and deliver robust, effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality unit tests to ensure code reliability.
  • Foster communication and collaboration within the team and across departments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with cross-functional teams.
  • Identify and mitigate risks during design and development phases.
  • Design system architecture that aligns with business and technical requirements.
  • Deliver innovative solutions to improve overall system efficiency.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to support company objectives.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related fields.
  • Java or Cloud certifications are an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years in Java development with strong experience in high-performance application development.
  • Proven ability to lead or mentor development teams.
  • Experienced in performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Fintech or financial application background is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in
    Java, Spring, Spring Boot
    .
  • Solid grasp of
    OOP principles
    and design patterns.
  • Experience with
    microservices architecture
    &
    RESTful APIs
    .
  • Hands-on with
    SQL/NoSQL databases
    , Hibernate/MyBatis.
  • Skilled in automated testing (JUnit, TestNG, Mockito).
  • Familiarity with front-end tech like

    Flutter
    is a plus.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI), Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (Alibaba Cloud, Azure, GCP).
  • Understanding of fintech regulations such as
    PCI-DSS
