About the role

As a Project Technical Engineer at Codetrace Sdn Bhd, you will play a vital role in the delivery of complex engineering projects. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure the successful implementation of our clients' projects. This is a full-time position based in Shah Alam, Selangor or Penang.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, identifying and mitigating risks to keep projects on track
  • Provide technical leadership and support to project teams, guiding them on engineering best practices
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective solutions
  • Oversee the design, installation, testing and commissioning of engineering systems and equipment
  • Monitor project progress, identify and resolve any technical issues that arise
  • Ensure all projects comply with relevant standards, regulations and safety requirements
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of our project delivery processes and techniques

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Technical Lead in the engineering industry.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects from start to finish
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and teams
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines
  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant engineering standards, regulations and best practices
