We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP BASIS and Security Specialist to manage, secure, and optimize our SAP landscape. The role covers SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP GRC 12, with a strong focus on system administration, security governance, and compliance. As the company transitions to SAP RISE, you will play a key role in both support and project delivery, ensuring a smooth migration and ongoing operational excellence.

Key duties and responsibilities

1. SAP Security & GRC

• Design, implement, and maintain SAP security roles and authorizations across ECC and GRC

• Manage user provisioning, role assignments, and access controls

• Administer SAP GRAC 12 Access Control (ARM, ARA, EAM) for SoD risk analysis, quarterly user access review (UAR), access remediation, and compliance reporting

• Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations

2. SAP RISE / S/4HANA Transformation

• Contribute to the SAP RISE transformation project, including system readiness, security design, and cutover planning

• Collaborate with SAP and implementation partners to ensure smooth transition to SAP RISE

• Provide expertise on cloud security, integration, and hybrid landscapes

3. Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with functional teams, business users, and auditors to resolve issues and ensure secure operations

• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior BASIS/security team members

• Document processes, policies, and system configurations

Skills & experience

• 5+ years of experience in SAP BASIS administration and SAP Security

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP GRAC 12 Access Control

• Proven track record in system upgrades, migrations, and performance optimization

• Experience with SAP RISE / S/4HANA migration projects is highly desirable

• Knowledge of databases (DB2 and HANA) and operating systems (Linux/Windows)

• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR, ISO27001)

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Qualifications & education

• Bachelor's in information technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus
