About the role

This is a full-time position based in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. As an Accounts Cum Administrative Executive at YEOW JIH INDUSTRIES SDN. BHD., you will play a vital role in supporting the accounting and administrative operations of the company. Reporting to the management, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting and administrative duties that are crucial to the smooth running of the business.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and preparing financial reports. Preferably can handle full set of accounts, with minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Processing invoices, payments, and other financial transactions in a timely manner
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and reports
  • Performing data entry and general administrative tasks to support the overall operations of the business
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, such as suppliers and customers, to ensure efficient communication and problem resolution

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an accounts or administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or SME environment
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other relevant computer applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, preferable proficient in English, Bahasa and Mandarin (speaking & writing) since this post required to liase with oversea Chinese speaking customers.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • A team player with a proactive and adaptable approach to work
