Brand & Marketing Senior Executive - FMCG

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Brand & Marketing Senior Executive to lead brand strategy and marketing initiatives for our food portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker with proven expertise in both trade marketing and brand building within the FMCG food industry. The ideal candidate will drive brand growth through integrated marketing campaigns while ensuring strong retail execution and trade partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Management
● Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies to drive market share growth and brand equity
● Lead the development of annual brand plans including positioning, innovation pipelines, and communication strategies
● Manage brand P&L, marketing budgets, and ROI analysis to optimize investment efficiency
● Conduct market research, consumer insights analysis, and competitive intelligence to inform brand decisions
● Oversee product development initiatives from concept to launch, working cross-functionally with R&D and operations
Trade Marketing
● Design and implement trade marketing strategies to maximize visibility and sales at point of purchase
● Develop promotional calendars, in-store activation programs, and merchandising solutions aligned with brand objectives
● Manage relationships with commercial team and key retail partners and distributors to secure optimal shelf space and promotional support
● Create trade materials including sell sheets, planograms, and POS displays
● Analyze sell-in and sell-out data to optimize trade spend and promotional effectiveness
Marketing Communications
● Lead integrated marketing campaigns across ATL and BTL channels including digital, social media, print, and experiential
● Plan and execute consumer engagement activities, sampling programs, and brand experiences
● Monitor campaign performance and provide insights for continuous improvement
Team Leadership & Collaboration
● Lead and mentor marketing team members to build capabilities and drive performance
● Collaborate with commercial and sales teams to align brand and trade strategies with commercial objectives
● Partner with finance, supply chain, and operations to ensure seamless execution
● Present brand performance updates and strategic recommendations to senior management
Qualifications & Experience
Required
● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred
● years of progressive marketing experience in FMCG, with at least 5-8 years in the food industry
● Proven track record in both trade marketing and brand management roles
● Strong understanding of modern and traditional trade dynamics in the food retail sector
● Experience managing P&L and marketing budgets of significant scale
● Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful go-to-market strategies
● Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in market data analysis and consumer insights
● Strong project management capabilities with ability to manage multiple priorities

● Track record of successful new product launches
● Experience in regional or multi-market brand management
● Familiarity with Nielsen, IRI, or similar market tracking tools
