Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure alignment with production schedules and targets.
  • Manage the production workflow to ensure efficient and timely execution of manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor and analyse production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Process Optimization:

  • Analyse production processes and identify opportunities for optimization to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline operations and reduce costs.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage operational budgets, including cost control and resource allocation.
  • Oversee capital expenditure (CAPEX) investments related to production equipment and facilities.

Compliance and Quality Control:

  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards, including GMP, ISO 9001:2015, OSHA, JKKP, and local environmental and safety regulations.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet established specifications and standards.

Project Management:

  • Participate in new product launches, overseeing production processes to ensure they meet design specifications and production schedules.
  • Contribute to the installation and commissioning of new machinery and the development of associated processes.
    • Lead and mentor production staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Undertake any other assignments related to your scope of work mentioned above as directed by the management from time to time.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities for team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production management role.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and industry regulations.
  • Proven experience in budget management and CAPEX planning.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ERP and production management software.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily based in a manufacturing environment.
  • May require occasional travel to other production sites or suppliers.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or shifts, if needed.
  • Required languages: English & Bahasa Malaysia
