Job Description

The Group Brand Director/ Brand Director is responsible for contributing to the achievement of business plan objectives by the effective management of the provision of quality communication strategies to clients

JOB PURPOSE

ï'. Maintain regular contact with clients

ï'. Lead effective meetings

ï'. Thorough knowledge of client's business, competitors and market

ï'. Opportunities for incremental revenue increases identified and developed

ï'. Development of all major and new campaign briefs

ï'. Recommend appropriate research as required

ï'. Brief Creative on campaigns

ï'. Prepare strategies for selling creative work to clients ensuring creative is on strategy and within budget

ï'. Media consulted on strategies as required

ï'. Work conforms with corporate brand identity guidelines and media specifications

ï'. Creative work confirms with advertising codes, legal and ethical standards

ï'. Preparation and monitoring of annual financial plan

ï'. Working knowledge of client contracts

ï'. Sign-off of relevant financial related documentation (ISRs, POs, production estimates etc)

ï'. Provide clients with accurate monthly budget/actual reconciliation/s for media/ production

ï'. Preparation of accurate monthly client billing forecasts

ï'. Record and maintain detailed headhours on all tasks

ï'. Work trafficked in an effective manner

ï'. Team members adhere to established processes and procedures

ï'. All appropriate sign-offs obtained

ï'. Team members have a clear understanding of job requirements

ï'. Performance Agreements in place and reviews conducted on time

KEY PERFORMANCE

ï'. Client Reviews

ï'. Growth in client spend

ï'. Profit

ï'. Sign-off of brief by Client

ï'. Relevance of research and acceptance by client

ï'. Internal agreements reached on project process and timelines before communication to client Acceptance of creative by client

ï'. Work produced on strategy

ï'. Work meets all standards

ï'. Accurate timesheets completed daily and submitted weekly

ï'. All estimates signed by Group Brand Director and client prior to job commencement

ï'. Sign off of PO's by Group Brand Director without revision

ï'. On time and accurate forecasts prepared monthly

ï'. 100% accurate client billings summary prepared monthly

ï'. Projects completed on time and within budget

ï'. Relevant sign-off in place before work commences

ï'. Performance reviews conducted on time

ï'. Weekly team meetings

JUDGEMENTS/DECISION MAKING:

The Group Brand Director/ Brand Director is expected to determine what is presented to clients, whether research is required, and the delegation of tasks to team members. The Group Brand Director / Brand Director is expected to add value to the Clients' activities and so build the Agency's business with that Client
