Job Summary

The Vice President of IT Service Delivery is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of IT services and solutions to the organization’s customers and stakeholders. The Vice President of IT Service Delivery ensures that the IT services are aligned with the business objectives, meet the quality standards, and comply with the policies and regulations. The Vice President of IT Service Delivery also oversees the IT service delivery team, manages the IT service delivery budget, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the IT service delivery strategy and roadmap, in alignment with the organization’s vision, mission, and goals
  • Define and monitor the IT service delivery performance metrics and KPIs, and ensure that the IT services meet or exceed the SLAs and customer expectations
  • Manage the IT service delivery budget and resources, and optimize the IT service delivery processes and costs
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the IT service delivery team, and ensure that they have the skills, tools, and support to deliver high-quality IT services
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with the customers and stakeholders, and communicate the IT service delivery status, issues, and risks
  • Identify and implement best practices, standards, and methodologies for IT service delivery, and ensure compliance with the policies and regulations
  • Evaluate and adopt new technologies, tools, and methods to improve the IT service delivery efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation
  • Collaborate with other IT leaders and teams to ensure the integration and alignment of the IT service delivery with the IT architecture, security, and operations
  • Manage and resolve IT service delivery issues, incidents, and problems, and ensure root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction, and solicit feedback from the customers and stakeholders to improve the IT service delivery quality and value

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or related field, and a minimum of 15 years of IT experience, including at least 10 years of IT service delivery management experience with IT Outsourcing or Managed Services organization
  • Proven track record of delivering IT services and solutions on time, on budget, and according to customer expectations
  • Strong knowledge and experience in IT service delivery methodologies, frameworks, and best practices, such as ITIL, PMO, Agile, DevOps, etc.
  • Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills, and the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a diverse and distributed IT service delivery team
  • Strong customer service, stakeholder management, and relationship building skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with different levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and the ability to handle complex and ambiguous IT service delivery situations
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and innovation skills, and the ability to align the IT service delivery with the business objectives and goals
  • Experience in managing IT service delivery budget and resources, and optimizing IT service delivery processes and costs
  • Experience in evaluating and adopting new technologies, tools, and methods to improve the IT service delivery efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation
  • Experience in ensuring compliance with the IT policies and regulations, and managing IT service delivery risks and issues
