duties and responsibility

As a Demand Planner, you are responsible for the following:

• Forecasting and analyzing demand for food products based on historical data, market trends, and customer insights.
• Collaborating with sales, marketing, and production teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and inventory plans.
• Monitoring inventory levels and adjusting production schedules to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts.
• Analyzing demand patterns and identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
• Communicating regularly with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and ingredients to support production schedules.
• Conducting regular reviews of demand forecasts and performance metrics to identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Utilizing demand planning software and tools to facilitate data analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
• Participating in cross-functional meetings and projects to support strategic planning and business growth initiatives.

  skills /experience
  

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain field
  • Experienced in demand & supply planning, forecasting & analysis
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Industry experienced in F&B or FMCG is preferred
  • Willing to travel on adhoc basis
