Ward clerk

**Requirement**:- SPM, Diploma holders or above, fresh graduate are welcomed to apply.- Minimum 2 to 3 years working experience in healthcare.- Good interpersonal skills.- Good communication skills.- PC Literate.- A self starter with initiative and resourcefulness.- Proficient in Microsoft office.**Main task**:- Responsible to enter all charges under Doctors and Hospitals into Hospital Information System (HIS) as per Charge Vouchers received.- To file all Charge Vouchers that had been keyed-in into a dedicated Patient Charge Folder.- To confirm with doctors and nurses in the event of receiving Charge Vouchers that are not clear which requires further clarification / confirmation.- To compile all related documents and reports for discharge and send to Discharge Team. The documents are discharge tracker, complete insurance form, investigation results, imaging reports, charge vouchers, etc.- To prepare all documents and reports related to referral cases and add-on procedures (Insurance form, Referral letter, and Investigation reports) and ensure them to be complete at ward level by the Doctors and nurses.- To confirm and write down in discharge tracker the doctors’ name who treated or seen the patient.- To assist in answering queries by patients regarding bills, charges, discharge process flow, etc.- Answer phone calls and take messages regarding billing related matters whenever required.- Responsible to provide correct information to discharged patient on their final bill status.- Senior Ward Clerk to prepare ward clerk duty roster and to arrange coverage / deployment as assigned.- At all times, to maintain strict confidentiality of any information you may become aware of during the course of your duties.- Enhance professional growth and development through reading of relevant literature, as well as attendance to relevant training programmes (internal & external).- Perform other tasks / duties as assigned.
