RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop detailed electrical and instrumentation design drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
  • Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
  • Perform site visits to collect data and verify design requirements.
  • Participate in design review meetings and provide technical support.
  • Prepare material take-offs and bill of materials (BOM) for procurement.
  • Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of materials.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during construction.
  • Update and maintain project documentation and drawings.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in electrical and instrumentation design within the energy sector.
  • Experience in plant design or engineering projects is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AVEVA E3D Design, AutoCAD, SmartPlant, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC, API).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience with offshore projects is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
