The Software Engineering team aims to optimize the software development and engineering process to improve the engineering productivity and product quality.

Mission

Our team mission is to architect and build solutions for improving the software engineering process in iFAST, through close partnerships with the QA teams and tight collaboration with product development teams. Responsibilities

The Right Person for this role:

  • Developer who tired of all the dirty hacks, shortcuts and aspire for cultural change in software quality.
  • Keen interest in financial products and services.
  • Almost zero tolerance on something which is not being done right.
  • Extremely concerned on NFRs such as security, reliability, performance.
  • Always curious about how things work underneath, be it framework, tools or anything.
  • Always hungry to grasp the knowledge of the latest and newest technology.
  • Be critical and pragmatic on the usage of those trendy techs in the organization.
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of IT systems.
  • You have an eagle eye for details and have the solid initiative to raise alarms when necessary.

Required Skills:

  1. Real project experience in web / mobile application testing using functional tests.
  2. Able to implement automated testing.
  3. Able to create test cases, test matrix, and bug reports.
  4. Knowledge of automation tools / frameworks such as Selenium / Appium / Robot Framework / Python / Katalon.
  5. Knowledge of Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, ECMAScript, Dart, Python.
  6. Familiar with Agile testing processes.
  7. Able to identify and report risks as early as possible.
  8. Able to run Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Retest, and E2E on the Application Under Test.
  9. Android studio for Google Analytics Testing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Computer Science or Equivalent Degree with at least 2 years of experience in testing in a medium or large-scale agile software development environment on native iOS and Android platforms.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Good working knowledge in test management software, programming language, and QA Methodologies.
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills, knowledge of web services, its common methods and JSON formats.
  • Experience with Jira or other project tracking tools.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in public cloud i.e. AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Gogs, and code scanning tool.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Java/J2EE frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring WebFlux.
  • Strong understanding and experience in Version Control System especially Git and its collaboration strategy such as branching, pull request, workflow, etc.
  • Experience in application monitoring tools such as InfluxDB, Prometheus, and relevant dashboard solutions such as Grafana, Kibana, etc.
  • Experience in performance testing tools such as k6, Jmeter, Wrk, Gatling, Locust, etc.
