About Our Client

A renowned FMCG MNC is in transition for team expansion, and are currently looking for a Head of Warehouse to join the team

Job Description

  1. Strategic Execution:
    • Develop and implement the Logistics Excellence Framework, focusing on Capability building, Talent Management, and cross-functional Transformation (Process, Digital, Automation, Operations).
    • Drive initiatives to support catering production needs, fulfil customer orders, and enable business volume with a focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

  2. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Effectively manage warehouse and transport teams to achieve operational excellence.
    • Drive people development, engagement, and capability-building initiatives to foster a high-performance team in an operational excellence environment.

  3. Compliance and Standards:
    • Ensure team adherence to operating standards, local regulations, and company policies, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and control.
    • Implement and uphold standards and relevant guidelines.

  4. Collaboration and Change Management:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and assignments that benefit the function or the overall business.
    • Act as a change agent, leading the team through transformations and initiatives.

  5. Logistic Excellence and Productivity:
    • Drive logistic excellence through transformation and productivity projects.
    • Manage the operational budget, providing hands-on leadership to ensure the right cost to serve and focusing on continuous improvement and productivity projects.

  6. Performance Metrics and KPI Management:
    • Establish and execute performance and process metrics.
    • Proactively monitor, manage, and report on the execution of deliverable.
    • Drive operational KPIs, establishing metrics and leading the team to achieve goals.

  7. Customer Service and Operational Readiness:
    • Ensure the team is ready and capable of servicing both internal and external customers.
    • Align warehouse operations with catering production needs, customer order requirements, and business volume within specified safety, quality, efficiency, and cost parameters.

  8. Change Management and Initiatives:
    • Drive change management within the warehouse and serve as a change agent for the smooth deployment of new initiatives, including ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System).

  9. Efficiency Initiatives:
    • Lead four warehouse initiatives focused on driving efficiency and cost benefits to the business.

  10. Logistics Excellence Evolution:
    • Build, evolve, and excel in the SIMA logistics excellence, aligning with the overall logistic strategy.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven leadership experience in warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Strong understanding of safety, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and lead teams towards operational excellence.
  • Project management skills and experience in implementing productivity initiatives.
