The Head of IT will lead the digital transformation efforts, focusing on optimizing ERP systems, integrating disparate systems, enhancing data security, and leveraging AI and IoT for automation. This role demands a strategic thinker who can implement a comprehensive IT strategy with digital transformation goals and the development of a machining solution center. In addition, he or she will play a crucial role in leveraging technology to drive the company sustainability initiatives. The position reports directly to the Group Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the optimization of the current ERP system and ensure its integration with MES, HRIS, and CMMS and GHG Accounting System

· Oversee the integration of all IT systems to ensure seamless data flow and synchronization.

· Implement AI and IoT technologies to enhance CNC machining accuracy and reduce cost per unit.

· Identify and resolve system inefficiencies and integration issues.

· Build, lead, mentor, and develop the IT team of 4 to build capacity beyond hardware support.

· Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the IT department.

· Ensure the IT team has the necessary skills and training to support the company's digital initiatives.

· Manage IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

· Coordinate with other departments to understand their IT needs and deliver appropriate solutions.

· Implement and maintain robust data security policies and procedures.

· Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and industry standards.

· Leverage AI and machine learning to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of CNC machining processes.

· Integrate IoT solutions to improve real-time monitoring and data collection for manufacturing operations.

· Collaborate with senior management and other key stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business objectives.

· Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to drive change and secure buy-in for IT projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field

• Proven experience (10+ years) in IT leadership roles, with a strong focus on digital transformation, system integration, and AI/IoT implementation.

• Demonstrable experience in optimizing ERP systems and integrating MES, HRIS, and CMMS.

• Strong understanding of data management, data security, and compliance requirements.

• Experience in leveraging AI and machine learning to improve manufacturing processes, particularly in CNC machining.

• Excellent leadership, team management, and project management skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM17,000.00 per month
