Job Description
  1. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  2. Present financial performance and key metrics to management.
  3. Budgeting and Forecasting:
    1. Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
    2. Monitor budget performance and variance analysis, providing insights and recommendations to management.
  4. Lead and supervise the finance team, providing guidance, support, and coaching as needed.
  5. Manage the general ledger (GL) and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
  6. Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections.
  7. Audit Coordination:
    1. Coordinate internal and external audit activities, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
    2. Implement audit recommendations to enhance internal controls and mitigate risks.
    3. Manage the annual audit process with external auditors and be accountable for timely and smooth completion of the annual audit process based on the deadline set by Management.
    4. Furnish the information to external tax agent to ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  8. Assist in developing, maintaining, and improving financial policies, processes, and procedures and maintain strict financial controls which are in line with the Management’s Direction.
  9. Participate in corporate exercises/initiatives, including but not limited to M&As, restructuring, and fundraising.
  10. Provide guidance to junior account staff in preparing a complete set of management accounts.
  11. Consistently review the chart of accounts to synchronize the presentation on financial reporting.
