Responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities

Part of the global statutory team responsible for “ best in class” service and providing ad-hoc project support, as required. The team works closely with other finance teams, providing support when required and collaborating across functions to meet overall goals.

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining CoE trackers, monitoring progress, and creating insightful dashboards via CSA (Centralization, Standardization, and Automation) projects implementation.
  • Providing statutory supports on centralized process to ensure the smoothness of external audit progress.
  • Preparing presentation decks/slides for management, effectively communicating the audit progress. .
  • Managing the audit progress via Audit Tracker, audit issue logs & findings, and coordinate the open matters with other functional teams.
  • Understanding and interpret applicable Enterprise Standards, SOP, and Process Maps to deliver globally economical financial process/accounting services.
  • Working towards improvement in method, project, processes, and procedures.
  • Reviewing of Management and Statutory financial statements, coordination audit requests by working closely with Functional team, Business, Tax, Legal, and Operations
  • Providing the financial statements and audit pack to auditors in compliance to the local statutory requirements.
  • Performing analytical reviews, variance analysis for S2G Walk, assessing the quality of data and working with the team to solve issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Have ACCA/CPA/CA or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent from an accredited university or college.
  • Have minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting and Finance
  • Have a relevant working experience in statutory. Big 4 accounting experience is an added advantage.
  • Possess good knowledge and understanding of Statutory and IFRS/US GAAP Accounting.
  • Be able to speak English with good oral and written communication skills
  • Have a knowledge, and demonstrate on developing reporting tools using data lake/ SAP ERP/Oracle, Power BI, office 365 tools, ThoughtSpot, Hyperion, Blackline, and Microsoft Office skills
  • Have good oral and written communication skills and have demonstrated success collaborating and building partnership with operations and cross-functional areas
