- To be involved in design, develop, deploy, and improve automated systems including hardware and software integration, and associated automation equipment, involving PLC, robotic arms, sensory system, vision system, etc.
- Engage in the validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) of all relevant equipment
- Engage in installation, commissioning & troubleshooting works of automation equipment, including buy-off and acceptance tests.
- Involve in factory acceptance test and site acceptance test document with manufacturing partners and customers
- Collaborate closely with other local and regional teams (Design, Project, Production, Manufacturing) within the organization to support the entire product lifecycle
- Work closely with internal/external customers to realize production ready systems.
- Participate in creating specifications for new equipment or for major improvements of existing equipment.
- Communicate with equipment manufacturing partners for troubleshooting of equipment issues, recording, analysis and improvement of the equipment.
- Liaise with project manager on project schedule.
- Provide end-user training and maintenance support.
- Manage automation machine performance especially on throughput and quality, drive OEE improvement
- Lead the formulation of TPM maintenance plan and execute the implementation of TPM plan
- Lead the qualification/validation of automation/equipment.
- Lead the formulation of TPM maintenance plan and execute the implementation of TPM plan
- Lead the purchase and inventory management of spare parts of our automation/equipment.
- Preparation of SOP and training of automation/equipment.
- Familiar with PLC, HMI, Pro/E or Solid works
- Assist in the management and maintenance of various signs of equipment and equipment, and conduct standardized management
- Assist in the identification of equipment hazards and safety
- Assist in the management of equipment consumables, assets, and spareparts
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electronics/Mechatronic/Control & Automation Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automation system design & development or automation field services
- Experience in automation design of motion control, hardware and software designs with controls using PLCs.
- Experience in automation system, mechanical & electrical, actuators, pneumatic system, various sensory system etc.
- Experiences in various industrial robots’ functions and applications e.g., SCARA/cartesian/articulated robots
- Hands-on experience in performing mechanical assembly and testing validation
- Proficient in MS office and other relevant software like Solidworks etc.
- Experiences in manufacturing process development will be an added advantage
- Knowledge in PLC (Logic & HMI) programming will be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge in SPC(Statistical Process Control), minitab, PFMEA, TS16949, TS13485 and other quality tools is highly desirable
- Experience in machine vision application will be an added advantage
- Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and oral to liaise with associates. The reason is due to our majority cooperate parties are from China.

- Excellent interpersonal and Communication skills.
- Technical writing and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
