This position is responsible for operation finance, which includes financial reporting, budgeting, corporate taxation, statutory audit, and management of AP, AR, and GL functions, along with any ad hoc tasks assigned from time to time.

This position will report to the Financial Controller and indirectly to the Group Chief Financial Officer.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Handle full-set of accounts (AP, AR, GL) and ensure timely, accurate, and comprehensive preparation of management reports.
  2. Assist in cost analysis, including cost-volume-profit relationships, standard costing, variance analyses for costs and revenues, transfer pricing, and activity-based costing for business/management analysis.
  3. Liaise with internal and external auditors regarding internal audit and statutory audits, assisting in the overall improvement of internal control and accounting processes.
  4. Assist in all taxation matters (corporate tax and SST), ensuring accurate and timely preparation of tax estimates and filing of tax returns.
  5. Prepare the annual budget, forecasts, and planning by liaising with relevant business units and departments to establish budget key performance indicators and strategies to be incorporated into budget preparation.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.
Job Requirements:
  • Candidate must have a Degree in Accounting or Finance; a professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CIMA, or ACCA will be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 7 years working experience in a senior executive position.
  • Leadership and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in financial and tax planning.
  • Computer skills and proficiency in accounting systems.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of integrity, work responsibility, and accountability.
  • Acute attention to detail, highly organized, confident, analytical, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, negotiation, and reporting skills.
  • Experience with ERP is preferable.
  • Willing to work at Pulau Indah, Selangor.
