Logistics Implant Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY
As a Logistics Implant Coordinator, the role is to provide daily support to CHR's logistics team, focusing on operations, customer service (responding to dealer inquiries), and liaising with CHR's logistics partners (for air, sea, and land shipments) to ensure efficient shipment fulfillment.
Working Hour Monday to Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM Saturday (Subject on shipment or emergency).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Each morning, the Implant team is required to conduct a comprehensive inventory inspection and at both the outbound and inbound docking bays. This inspection includes verifying that the SO (Shipment Order) numbers accurately match the shipments scheduled for arrival and departure. Additionally, it is imperative to inspect the status of shock watches and tilt watches on the shipments to ensure they have not been triggered or are missing. For detailed information on the location kindly refer the file below at and handling of all tilt and shock watches and cargos:
· Operational Support: Provide daily support to logistics team, ensuring the smooth execution of logistics operations.
· Timely Shipment Pickup: Ensure the timely pickup of shipments, coordinating with couriers and drivers to meet pickup schedules.
· Coordination with Logistics Partners: Communicate and collaborate closely with logistics partners to arrange and monitor inbound and outbound shipments, whether by air, sea, or land. This includes coordinating daily shipments, confirming logistics modes for specific shipments, and order drop arrangements.
· Customer Service: Attend to inquiries from dealers nationwide, covering all inbound and outbound into or from Penang. Provide shipment support and assistance exclusively, ensuring excellent customer service for dealer network.
· To have thorough idea of shipments information in detail, such as package condition, tilt watch, shock watch, and special requirements if having. And work with KAM team to collect more shipment information and have direction from KAM.
· Keep close and good relationship with traffic controller, to have the 1st hand information of shipping forecast in advance, and trade trend, as well as new project, for CHR internal study in advance, and get ready at right time if having.
· Develop and maintain good relationship and familiar with internal shipping process, to make it clear who is in charge at each step and estimate timeline. To ensure right time to find right person, to solve the issue once happened.
· Coordinate air & ocean import and export dept to smooth shipment shipping, build up concrete trust
· Keep and Develop relationship with related parties, like PM, logistic team, other supplier to enhance positive reputation on CHR.
· Keep good relationship with nominated broker and customs officer, keep them alert on the importance of project.
· Ad Hoc Responsibilities: Be prepared to take on other responsibilities and tasks as required by CHR to support the logistics and customer service functions
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, High school diploma
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills and phone etiquette
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Exceptional customer service skills and follow up
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and using the internet
- Knowledge or coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics and or International Business a plus
