The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing subsea pipeline pre-commissioning projects in Kuala Lumpur. This one-year contract, with potential for extension based on performance, requires substantial experience in subsea engineering. Experience with FPSO, MOPU, FSO, and EPC/EPCIC projects is advantageous.

Job Responsibilities:

1.Plan, coordinate, and manage subsea pipeline pre-commissioning projects from inception to completion.

2.Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.

3.Conduct technical evaluations and feasibility studies to support project planning and decision-making.

4.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution.

5.Prepare and review engineering deliverables, including specifications, drawings, and reports.

6.Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or deviations from the project plan.

7.Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

8.Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

9.Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, troubleshooting and resolving any engineering challenges.

10.Conduct site visits and inspections to verify the quality and integrity of project work.

11.Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to stakeholders and management.

Job Requirements:

1.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Civil, or a related field.

2.Minimum of 5 years of experience in subsea engineering, with a focus on pipeline pre-commissioning.

3.Experience with FPSO, MOPU, FSO (floaters), and EPC/EPCIC projects is advantageous.

4.Strong understanding of subsea pipeline design, installation, and pre-commissioning processes.

5.Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to subsea projects.

6.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor complex projects.

7.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.

8.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

9.Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in all project activities.

10.Willingness to work in Kuala Lumpur and travel as required by project needs.

11.Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as API, ISO, and DNV, is preferred.
