Job Description

Authority

  • To verify site job execution/site variation order.
  • To make decisions on minor site expenses and site execution.
  • To make decisions on site matters during site meetings.
  • Execute routine duties independently as per laid out by supervisor (Senior Project Engineer).

Responsibilities

  • To monitor closely the project execution or project schedule for MP & ST project.
  • To prepare costing and quotation as per customer specification and requirement within the timeline.
  • To attend tender interviews for MISC Project, repair jobs, trading of spare parts, etc.
  • To assign tasks to site supervisors or site technicians according to the plan.
  • To monitor closely the project activity & service quality.
  • To liaise with the local authority for approvals such as DOE & DOSH, etc.

Job Requirements

Experience / Skills Required

  • Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Preferably 1 – 2 years of working experience in the related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as well.
  • Well versed in English and Bahasa Malaysia in both written and spoken. Ability to speak Chinese is an added advantage.
  • Able to travel extensively (regionally or globally) and are able to stay on the job site (3-4 weeks being normal timeline).
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision and possess a high sense of responsibility.
  • Possess good leadership skills, self-motivated, resourceful, process result-driven with high integrity.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Preferably with knowledge in boiler.
  • Able to be based at site.
  • Possess valid driving license (D license).
