I am excited to offer a new position which is coming up with with one of our industry leading clients in Malaysia who are looking to hire Custodian level Petroleum Geoscientist to oversee a verity of upcoming projects both in Malaysia and internationally.

The role would be a key leadership role to oversee offshore upstream operations and will be office based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Essential Experiance:

• Relevant degree with a preference for postgraduate qualifications.

• Minimum 20 years experience in the oil and gas sector with at least 10 years in the operating environment.

• Knowledgeable in all facets of the petroleum industry with core competency in Geoscience skill

• On-the-job experience of integrated prospect evaluation and resource assessment with modern technology, maturing prospects and make decision for optimally drilling them cost effectively

• Have full expertise in life of field cycle starting from initial exploration, appraisal right up to field development and subsequent exploitation

• Apart from the technical know-how, the incumbent should have sound business practices and strategic vision, which would lead to economically viable and profitable ventures
