* Ensure the timely consolidated Financial Statements, management reporting, cash flow, budget and audited Financial Statements by respective subsidiaries.
* Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close for CPF/EPF submission, Income Tax forms for Employers, GST submission, XBRL submission, tax submission and year-end audit closing.
* Weekly management reporting of cash and Trade Finance position for the whole group of companies.
* Monitor and approve purchase budget for cargo arrangement from respective subsidiaries via TRI.
* Managing both local and overseas subsidiaries to ensure timely reporting of management accounting.
* Travel to respective overseas subsidiaries at least once every 3 months for both internal and compliance audits based on statutory requirements.
* Manage audit teams for both local and overseas subsidiaries to ensure timely completion of audit for each entity.
* Liaise with various overseas subsidiaries for monthly, quarterly and yearly closing as required for inter-company accounts reconciliation.
* Overseeing the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring that all major projects, month-end and year-end reports are completed accurately.
* Ensure that all cheques/cash received from customer is deposited in the Company's bank account.
* Check to ensure all management reporting, audit schedule, payment vouchers, j invoices, credit and debit notes are in order and correct.
* Ensure that the payments received from customers are in order and correct and debtors' list is always updated.
* Follow up closely with customers on all outstanding invoices and inform Management of any doubtful debts.
* Check and ensure that the Bank Statements reconcile with Cash Book.
* Check and ensure monthly staff claims and sales commissions are correct (ensure to supervise).
* Check and ensure monthly statement of accounts to customers for debt collection (ensure to supervise).
* Preparing and submit all payroll for ALL entities in Singapore/Malaysia
* Supervise and approve payment and payroll from respective subsidiaries.
* Assist with compilation of information for preparation of annual review of banking facilities, tax return and year-end auditing.
* Liaise with Audit, Tax, Corporate Secretary and Banker to ensure overall coordination of all financial accounting activities through annual report
* Answering all Audit queries and IRAS queries.
* Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by Managing Director

Requirements:
* Minimum Degree in Accounting with 5 years of related working experience.
* Possess knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* High level of efficiency and accuracy.
* Strong budgeting, financial forecasting and financial analysis skills required.
* Good attitude with positive mindset and willing to learn.
* Possess analytical skills, meticulous and with a high level of integrity and responsibility.
* Ability to direct and supervise.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. He/She will address tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, and the support of budget and forecast activities.
