Accounts Receivable

  • Process invoices and credit notes according to commercial billing instructions and serve as first gate to check the correctness of GST output tax selection by commercial
  • Send invoices and credit notes to customer promptly by post the hardcopy, send to designated email or upload to customer portal
  • Release invoice to accounting once commercials team have approved the invoice and attach  softcopy of invoice and commercial’s email approval, supporting docs to SAP
  • Notify commercial of the receipt of payment from customer and ensure receipts are accurately accounted for and matched against Accounts Receivable balances
  • Promptly communicated to commercial team for AR disputes and discrepancies as feedback by customer for next course of action to speed up resolution and collection

     

    IC Accounts Receivable

    • Issue IC AR invoices and credit notes with correct GST and markup % to counter party (secondee, technical services, various backcharges)
    • Upload IC transactions to Bellin and perform SAP to Bellin Loading Recon to ensure completeness. Follow up with counter party for disputed invoices

       

      Accounts Receivable Misc Billing

      • Issue AR misc billing to 3rd party (sales of fixed assets, container & canteen rental, scrap metal)
      • Check BOA & HSBC for payment received from misc receipts (eg. refund from vendor, rental deposit, IRAS, bank credit interest etc) and book the entry in SAP 

         

        IC Loan

        • Request and confirm IC loan in Bellin
        • Calculate interest income/interest expense based on loan amount, loan duration and loan interest, also reconcile with Bellin’s interest amount to exact decimal place  
        • Book monthly interest income/expense provision
        • Follow up on signed copy of loan agreement and save in shared drive
        • Work with Treasury for loan due if need to roll over or repay (principle + interest or only interest)
