Malaysia Mata Clinic & Optometrist Part time

We are seeking a skilled Clinic Receptionist with an Optical Background to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations of our clinic, providing exceptional customer service to patients, and utilizing their optical knowledge to assist with various tasks related to eyewear and vision care.Responsibilities:- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently- Answer phone calls and emails, and respond to inquiries promptly- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims- Assist patients with selecting and fitting eyewear, including frames and lenses- Educate patients on proper eyewear care and maintenance- Maintain inventory of eyewear, contact lenses, and optical supplies- Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and billingRequirements:- Previous experience working as a receptionist in a medical or optical setting- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling and billing- Knowledge of vision insurance plans and billing procedures- Familiarity with optical terminology and products- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information- Certification or training in optical dispensing is a plusBenefits:- Competitive salary based on experience- Opportunities for professional development and growth- Friendly and supportive work environmentIf you meet the above qualifications and are passionate about providing excellent patient care, we encourage you to apply for this position.
