JR46293 Logistics Analyst

Responsible for handling the execution, direction, and coordination of all outbound and inbound shipments for domestic and international. This includes handling budgets, arranging schedules & routes, ensuring export shipments are safe and meet legal requirements and liaising with Customs to ensure all trade and LMW requirements are aligned with.
Also, will be responsible for supporting/monitoring/controlling inbound and outbound shipments by liaising with multiple departments and shippers regarding collection/delivery of goods, documentation, import preparation, export, and custom matters.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Work with Malaysian Custom and custom clearance agents on day-to-day clearances activities

Work with Custom for exemption application if required. Response to appointed brokerage related what tariff code to use. To ensure brokerage using the accurate tariff code Escalate to superior for non-compliance for next actions.

Preparation and Verification of inbound/outbound shipments

For non-integrated items, need to prepare exemption ad- hoc documentation and supporting documents. Response to appointed brokerage related what tariff code to use.

Maintain and support daily handbook activities.

To ensure clerk update and track all Goods Exit Pass into spreadsheet. To ensure clerk update and track key inbound shipment into spreadsheet. To ensure clerk update and track the export shipment data until it delivers to consignee

Maintains quality record retention process and advises other functional groups of Customs regulations.

To achieve all documentation related to import and export according to category defined.  Minimum period to achieve is based on Custom & Micron documentation retention period.

Assist in handbook management, reconciliation, and document integrity

To update and prepare custom report base on frequency defined. To ensure to update and prepare prior the specific time frame defined. To update and follow up is tracking tools for all ad-hoc exemption expiry status.
