JR47895 Senior TSE SSD Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

Develop, release and maintain test programs of Micron SSD products in a timely manner to ensure Micron SSD products meet important target (yield/test time/coverage & release timeline), to support device performance characterization needs and to allow analysis of customer returns. Design and optimize test programs to produce best in class yield and reduce product test times and manufacturing cost by improving the efficiency of the testing methods. Automate test process by writing software scripts to improve efficiency. Work closely with Test planning/manufacturing/engineering teams to ensure the smooth execution of Test manufacturing operations Enhance test coverage to ensure excellent outgoing quality and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with test capacity, various engineering groups and manufacturing teams to meet production output goals. Develop and monitor process and engineering metrics to ensure stability, efficiency and effectiveness of test processes. Participates in designing, developing, and implementing effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment for NPI phases of product development and manufacturing. Prepares test and diagnostic programs, debug and identify root cause of failures and provide feedback to internal or external engineering groups.

Requirements:

Bachelor's/Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical/Electronic Engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer Science. Strong interest in software development with good programming skills. Knowledge of any of the following is desirable: Python/C, C++/Perl. Interest in developing and debugging test programs. Prior experience in writing test programs for NAND/SSD/system level testing would be an advantage. Prior experience in manufacturing operation flow and assist process and production teams by providing necessary test engineering solution to ensure smooth manufacturing operations. The ability to manage multiple issues and result oriented Good interpersonal and communication skills. At least 5 years’ experience in a related industry
