Main Purpose of Role

The Product Manager HCP is responsible for the development and execution of HCP marketing plans and tactics for FreeStyle Libre to maximize profitability, HCP recommendation and sales. The Product Manager is fully responsible for delivering assigned initiatives, such as marketing materials for HCP communication, CMEs, conferences, and educational programs with flawless execution.

This role, reporting to the country manager, plays a pivotal role within the team working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams in Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, agencies, and APAC Marketing.

Main Responsibilities

Align and implement HCP marketing strategies with sales teams aligned to the Area/ global direction, brand roadmaps and business plans. Be the strategic lead and champion for best-in-class HCP continuing education programs that will drive CGM adoption by establishing AGP as a standard of care in clinical practice in close partnership with Area HCP and medical marketing. Lead the development and cascade HCP marketing tools including communication and drive the digital acceleration to effectively engage HCPs. Lead the continuous segmentation and profiling of HCP and hospitals to drive the right targeting & engagement strategies with relevant messaging. Manage organization of all HCP related events included CMEs, advisory boards, symposia/conferences and ensure sales team drive the lead generations from these events. Drive strategic plan to improve retention across by improving the digital health tool adoption through analysis of barriers with HCP and patients and how to overcome these with messaging and assets to deploy in key markets. Continuously build brand, ensure that the Abbott and FreeStyle brand experience is consistently guarded and well-maintained throughout HCP marketing assets and engagements including risk mitigation & objection handling. Ensure to allocate the HCP marketing budget to the relevant activations to maximize business profitability and achieve business goals. Demonstrate excellent project management skills to work collaboratively with sales, medical marketing, regulatory affairs, and supply to execute HCP marketing initiatives with success, as well as identify further opportunities for Freestyle Libre. Ensure all business activities comply with the relevant Acts, as well as Abbott’s Ethics and Compliance, Finance, Purchasing, Quality, Regulatory and Legal policies and procedures.

Education & Experience

A basic degree in business studies, marketing, or any sciences

7+ years working experience in HCP marketing

HCP Marketing experience gained at a reputable healthcare brand or from relevant scientific background

HCP marketing knowledge including customer segmentation model, messaging frameworks, healthcare event planning, reviewing clinical studies, HCP digital engagement

Intimate knowledge of marketing mix tools and application know-how.

In-depth understanding of the workings of strategic & operational marketing, business planning & current healthcare marketing best practices

Organizational skills & operational rigor to ensure effective execution of plans
