What is the opportunity? Our client is a specialist provider of asset services, custody, payments and treasury services. Founded in 1864, they are the 10th largest bank worldwide and the 5th in North America, as measured by market capitalization. They are among a small group of highly rated global banks and are recognized time and time again for our financial strength, market leadership and philanthropic work.Our client has a processing centre of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographical time zones employing a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across times zones and supports a 24/5 operational capability. The objectives for Malaysia are to enhance the scalability of their global operations, improve service quality via their ‘centres of excellence’ and to implement/leverage standardised processes globally.Working hours : 6PM-3AM / 7PM-4AMRegion : Canada (18 months contract) What will you do? Operate a computer terminal to verify, enter, retrieve and edit data. Key from paper documents or other computer templates at required speed and accuracy level. Read source documents such as cancelled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors Maintain and review logs of activities and completed work Ensure timely response rates on queries Due to the changing nature of our business your job description will inevitably change. You will, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within your capabilities as directed by management. What do you need to succeed? Must-have Prior experience in operations Strong communication skills Strong computer skills Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information Good knowledge of Excel / macros Nice-to-have Prior experience within financial services Good inter-personal and communication skills (written and verbal) What’s in it for you?
