Job Requirement:

  • A school diploma or equivalent, with additional qualifications in hospitality, business or related being and asset.
  • Experience in reservation or customer service role, ideally within the hospitality industry.
  • Able to work under pressure and shift work.
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate and error-free handling of reservations.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple reservations simultaneously while maintaining efficiency.

Standard Job Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the reservation process, ensuring accurate and timely booking of rooms or services.
  • Handling customer inquiries, providing information about availability, rates and policies and assisting with special requests.
  • Utilizing reservation software to input and manage booking efficiently.
  • Coordinating with other departments, such as housekeeping, front desk and culinary to ensure smooth guest experience.
  • Addressing and resolving issues related to reservations, cancellations or special requests in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities/Major Tasks:

  • Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
  • Exercises responsible behaviour at all times and positively representing the hotel management team.
  • Reads the hotel's Employee Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
  • Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required.
  • Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
