As the Safety and Security Executive you are responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety and security protocols and procedures to ensure the protection of personnel, assets, and facilities within an organization. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of safety and security regulations, risk assessment, emergency response planning, and the ability to foster a safety culture throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety and Security Strategy:

Develop and execute a comprehensive safety and security strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives. Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities and create proactive measures to mitigate them.

Risk Assessment and Analysis:

Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and threats to the organization. Analyze data and trends to develop effective risk management strategies.

Policy and Procedure Development:

Create and implement safety and security policies, procedures, and guidelines that comply with relevant laws, industry standards, and best practices.

Ensure these policies are communicated effectively to all relevant stakeholders.

Compliance and Regulations:

Keep abreast of local, regional, and national safety and security regulations, ensuring the organization's adherence to these standards. Collaborate with regulatory authorities as necessary.

Emergency Response Planning:

Develop and maintain robust emergency response plans for various scenarios, including natural disasters, accidents, and security breaches. Conduct drills and training exercises to ensure personnel are adequately prepared.

Incident Investigation and Reporting:

Lead investigations into safety and security incidents, accidents, and near misses. Generate comprehensive reports outlining root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.

Vendor and Contractor Management:


Collaborate with procurement and other relevant departments to ensure safety and security standards are met by vendors and contractors working on-site.


Training and Awareness:

Conduct training sessions and workshops to raise awareness of safety and security practices among employees. Foster a strong safety culture that encourages reporting of potential hazards and promotes safe behaviors.

Technology and Systems:

Stay up-to-date with the latest safety and security technologies, including surveillance systems, access control, and alarms. Evaluate and recommend suitable technologies to enhance organizational safety.

Crisis Management:

In the event of a crisis or emergency, act as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, coordinate response efforts, and provide regular updates to management.


Assist Department with ad hoc assignment and projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience in Luxury Hotel or Resort Environment

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as safety management, security management, risk management, or a related discipline

Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in safety and security management roles, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting
:

  • Indepth knowledge of safety and security regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with employees, management, and external partners.
  • Leadership and team management skills to lead safety initiatives and foster a safetyconscious culture.
  • Certification in relevant areas such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using safety and securityrelated software and technologies
