Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure the safety of the mall premises.
  • Manage and coordinate security staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and reduce risks.
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems, such as CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
  • Respond to security incidents and emergencies promptly, providing leadership and direction to security staff and other mall employees.
  • Develop and manage the security budget, ensuring effective use of resources.
  • Prepare reports on security incidents and outcomes, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct investigations into security breaches or incidents, working with law enforcement as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and mall policies related to security and safety.
  • Conduct and oversee security training programs for mall staff to ensure they are prepared to respond to securityrelated situations.
  • Manage crowd control strategies during peak times or special events to ensure the safety of all mall patrons.

Job requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree in Facility Management, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, preferably in retail or mall setting.
  • Strong understanding of security protocols, crisis management, and emergency response.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse situations and make quick decisions in highpressure scenarios.
  • Knowledge of security technology and equipment.
  • Experience in conducting security assessments and audits
  • Strong problemsolving and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Professional certification in security management or related field is a plus.
  • Must pass a background check and have a clean criminal record.

Pay:
RM1, RM3,000.00 per month
