Selangor Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine quality assurance (QA) tests in timely manner.
  • Perform patient specific delivery QA of approved radiotherapy plans.
  • Perform treatment planning of radiotherapy.
  • Manage the physics tools, maintain in good condition and ensure calibrations are up to date.
  • Assist in arrangements of external referrals for Nuclear Medicine procedures.
  • Maintain detailed records of all routine QA performed.
  • Maintain filing of all calibration reports, QA reports and certificates.
  • Contour organs at risk and perform treatment planning as per prescribed by the Oncologist.
  • Upkeep the cleanliness of the physics room, equipment room and Tomo server room.
  • Investigate and report the findings of any anomaly of radiotherapy equipment to HOD of Cancer Centre.
