It is a business that provides transportation and hostel for foreign workers in Malaysia, this hostel can accommodate 4000 workers and has a mini market, barber shop, canteen and laundry.

MZ also have 15 buses for transportation from the hostel to the customer's workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting transactions.
  • Able to handle full set of account.
  • Ensure timely, accurate monthend closing and financial reporting to Management.
  • Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Assisting management in the decisionmaking process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required.
  • Prepare budget forecasts.
  • Publish financial statements in time.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure timely bank payments.
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
  • Report on the company's financial health and liquidity.
  • Audit financial transactions and documents.
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
  • Help uphold the integrity of the company's finances.
  • Analysing business plans.
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations.

Requirements and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • More education or experience may be preferred.
  • Special licenses or certification may be required.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
  • Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes.
  • Ethical behaviour.
  • Work experience as an Accountant.
  • Disciplined and timely manner.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detailoriented.
